        Phil, younger brother of Gary, looks to have a great future ahead of him with Manchester United. Captain of the 1995 Manchester United Youth Cup winning squad, he is aiming to make the left or right back berth at Manchester United his own. He was called up to the England squad when just 19 years of age, and was a squad member for England in Euro 96.

         Phil had a phenomenal season in 1995-96, establishing himself at left-back, and helping United to 'The Double'.  Last season he was plagued by injuries but expect to see him back in business this season!
